Particle Distribution
Intro
Position points on a Particle Shape.
This is a way to attach geometry to each Particle via the Duplicator or, for example, to use a Particle Shape as the input to a Connect Shape (or any other Layer that uses a Distribution).
UI
Input Shape - Add the Particle Shape to distribute points onto.
Example
- Create a Particle Shape.
- Create a Connect Shape.
- Under the Connect Shape's Source tab, set the Source Distribution to Particle.
- Connect particleShape.id→connectShape.sourceGenerator.inputShape.
- Play
Try adding a second Particle Shape to the Target Distribution and experimenting with the Connect Shape's settings.
